Dr. B told me that she does not think Jac has started teething. He has thrush in his mouth and she thinks this may be what has been making his mouth uncomfortable. We shall see what happens after the thrush is cured.
Mom - I would like you to know that you were right when you thought he was sick and not teething. Power to the Moms - even when they are Grandmas!

After I read your post I was thinking that you could have contracted the yeast problem post antibiotics from your mastitis. I meant to tell you when I saw you that I would recommend taking some kind of pro-biotic post the antibiotics. It puts the good bacteria back into your system that got killed off with the antibiotics. Anyway, I would still suggest it. It won't harm Jac. In fact, if it does pass on in the breastmilk it might do his system some good. I usually get the dairy free Intestinal Care powder (but they have capsules too) in the refrigerated section of Whole Foods vitamin area. Email me if any questions. Karen
