Jac: Walking with a Pampers box

Jac started, yesterday, using a Pampers box as a walker! It is really great to see him doing this - he is pretty good at it already and he can go all the way across the living room without sitting down!

(Update from Taj - 10/16/08) Jac's OT (Occupational Therapist) explained to me today that it is good for Jac to start his walking in this bent over "bear" walk position. This position helps to strengthen his trunk, shoulders and arms and does not require as much balance as walking standing up more upright. After Jac has had some practice with the Pampers box we will need to get him a walker so that he can practice walking in a more upright position. After he does that then he will be ready to walk on his own!
