Nic is home

Nic came home today! It took me several more days to make it out of the hospital than I had initially thought it was going to.

I was feeling pretty good the day after surgery, and I was still doing pretty well two days after - but then things started to go a little more downhill. I started to swell up and this made it harder for Nic to nurse. That is getting a bit better now and Nic is able to latch on well and eat. My milk has come in fully and he seems to be really enjoying getting a full belly and then sleeping for a few hours. I will put up a more full post of all of the goings on of the last few days but right now I am going to bed as Nic is going to have me up soon to feed him - and I can't have Daddy do it!
