Our baby is transported to Children's Hospital, Denver

After our baby was born, it was clear to the doctors that he needed more medical attention than could be provided by Boulder Community Hospital's NICU. They arranged for a Flight For Life mobile ICU transfer team to take him to The Children's Hospital in Denver.

Here, he is being stabilized for transfer out of Boulder Community Hospital (around 11 pm)

Here he is in the mobile ICU, just before being taken by ambulance to Denver.

We get a quick picture in before our boy is carted off to Denver and Taj is carted off to her room to recover from the surgery.

Here is a movie taken about 3 hours after the baby arrived at Children's Hospital.

Here he is the morning after delivery.

He has been nicknamed "BBC" for Baby Boy Chiu, based on the admission paper at DCH (as "Chiu, Baby Boy").
