I have decided to hang up the horns. The combination of Jac getting older and more active and being pregnant is just wearing me out. I am pretty much at the end of my rope in terms of energy and I have decided I will be a better mother to Jac and #2 if I stop. I am pumping right now just to relieve the pressure - but I am going to pump just for comfort until my milk dries up. I am ineffably sad about this decision but I believe it is the right one for our family.
Jac will be 8 months old tomorrow - so I made it to one day short of 8 months!

I know you're sad, but try not to let that linger too long. There is a huge bright side to look at - you did great, and Jac clearly has benefited from all of your efforts.

You did such an amazing job, Taj! You clearly have earned your right to HUTH. You have to preserve all energy for you and the baby inside you at the moment so you can function to take care of Jac! 8 months is great! Jac has done great. Thinking of you and wishing you all the best!
