We went to see Jac at noon today, and he did a pretty good job of feeing from the bottle. He took in 9 ml in about 20 minutes. At various times, he took a break from drinking, and sucked on a pacifier. And, at one point, he started fussing because he pooped. Mommy had to do a quick diaper change!





He did fairly well during most of the bottle feeding; but there were also moments when it was clear the reflux was bothering him.

They are giving now giving Jac Prevacid, Zantac, MCT, and Zinc. The Prevacid will eventually replace the Zantac (both meds help lessen the painful effects of reflux). The MCT and Zinc are given to help his growth.
