Tonight's weigh-in: 1190 grams.

Jac weighed in at 1190 grams tonight. He gained 12 grams from last night, which is below the range that they would like to see (15 to 30 grams per day).

They have been increasing the caloric value of his feeds; but he is burning off the calories because of his high metabolism.

There is a concern that Jac will continue to get further behind the curve in terms of his size relative to his age. The NNP's and doctors chart his weight/size on a number of growth profile graphs:



(BTW, after having gotten used to the all-electronic medical charting system at The Children's Hospital, the paper-based charting at BCFH feels a little odd to me...)
