Jac will need to have surgery for his inguinal hernia. We were given a referral to a surgeon that works out of Children's but I am going to solicit more referrals before we settle on a surgeon. The doctor said that as long as the hernia does not change colors it is not emergent and is considered an elective procedure.
While the idea of Jac having surgery is scary better that he has it before there are any complications from the hernia.
So - if any of Jac's nurses are reading the blog and have a recommendation for a surgeon please let us know!
