Amazing! It is like a world apart. The entire time I was there all I could think was - "Man, this place is huge and new and colorful!"
Here is a link to the layout of the new NICU - amazingly different! We were not allowed to go in and see it but I am hoping on our next visit we will get a chance to look around.
The old hospital felt a little more cozy, and occupied. This one is so large we felt a little lost. Adding to that feeling is the fact that the signage has not been completed yet. Some signs have been put up with paper but plenty of them are just not there. Hopefully this means they put their energy into completing the medical portions and just ran out of time for the signs! We shall hope!
