Jac had his 3rd Synagis injection today. After all of the negotiations I thought I had done with my friend to get the injection done at home she and I had misunderstood one another. She thought I was going to tell her how much he weighed and I thought she was bringing a scale. D'oh!
Fortunately my father has a friend who is a pediatric cardiologist in Pasadena. He kindly opened his office and allowed us to weigh Jac and then gave Jac his injection. Jac cried for the injection but then took 50 ml from a bottle and then happily fell asleep in the car on the way home.
Jac now weighs 7 pounds and 12 ounces - much less than I had hoped for. I am hoping that is weight gain is going to pick up now that I am getting a bit healthier. We should be able to have a fairly settled next 2 weeks.
