Last night Joseph's company had their Christmas party. We got ourselves cleaned up and off we went. We were a little late - but made it before dinner. Oh man did Jac get a lot of interest. So many people at Joseph's company have been following Jac's progress through our website and through Joseph - so a lot of people were very excited to see him for the first time.
I ended up in the downstairs ladies room with Jac (looking for a quiet spot) feeding him. I missed dinner (not the first and for sure not the last time I will not eat while Jac does) and most of the speeches. It was way too warm in the room where the party was being held (20 degrees outside - must have been 85 degrees inside) and so Jac and I hung out downstairs in the foyer of the restaurant where Jac also got a lot of attention. He is so small - but looks so old - everyone asks how old he is.
Some of the ladies on a few of my newsgroups that have preemie babies have commented on how many times they have to explain how old their children are and how it gets tiresome after a while. I know people are just curious but it does get tiring the 30th time you explain it in one evening. They also comment on how cute Jac is which is nice!
