Our pediatrician has been tracking Jac on a full term, full size baby growth chart. On that chart Jac is still below the 3rd percentile in every measure. When the public health nurse came last week they brought a VLBW (Very Low Birth Weight - defined as children born at less than 1500 grams) chart on which Jac's height and length are still below the 3rd percentile but his head is at the 5th percentile!
I found the VLBW (defined as children born at less than 1500 grams (Jac was 698 grams)) chart online and I am going to bring it to our next appointment so our pediatrician can use that chart - it only seems fair!
