Okay - we have a new plan. We are going to fly to LA. Our friend Jennifer is going to take the same flight so it will be Jac, Jen and me. Jen has a service dog so we are supposed to be in the bulkhead seats which will hopefully make things a bit easier.
Our flight leaves tomorrow late afternoon so we are trying to repack and re-organize to get ourselves to LA by plane. This means, of course, that the dogs will be staying here in Colorado. I don't think Knutson will be unhappy that he does not have to make the drive. After we got home last night he seemed really happy to be home and not cooped up in the car with Paula and Abbey.
The dogs will get visits three times a day from their dog walker - which we hope will be enough. I have never left Knutson without somebody to spend the night so I am a bit worried but I am sure it will all be fine. They love the dog walker - Haley - and she loves them so I know they will get the best care she can give them.
We are going to stay in LA for 10 days so we are going to have to change some of our plans but this way at least we will see everyone (and give them a chance to see our little boy) and be home for Christmas!
